Looking into the pool, there, rising from the dark fen depths are growing things. Weeds with clustered-jewel leaves stained golden in the peat water, held in the soft liquid light. One breaks the surface.

Curved and textured petals of silver and bronze, clustered into neat sculptural studs.

Made from recycled sterling silver or golden bronze with sterling silver ear posts and secure push on stopper backs.

After casting in nearby Melton Mowbray, they’re hand-finished by me in my Suffolk studio, using natural alternatives to traditional jewellery-making chemicals.
